Case 1 – Implementation of QR-Passport at LLC “BK-Drive Fittings”

Customer

LLC “BK-Drive Fittings”: the exclusive distributor of the Chinese manufacturer VTORK Technology (Wuxi) Co., LTD for pneumatic actuators in Russia.

Problem

Creating passports for each pneumatic actuator that comply with GOST standards, as this is a mandatory requirement for supplying pneumatic actuators to oil and gas companies.

Goal

Develop passports for the pneumatic actuators from the Chinese manufacturer in accordance with GOST standards and automate their creation process.

What Was Done

1. Revised the passport in accordance with the requirements of GOST R 2.610-2019 (ESKD) and GOST R 52869-2007:
   – All necessary sections were added;
   – Technical inaccuracies in the equipment parameters were eliminated;
   – Technical specifications required for the proper operation of the product were included;
   – The passport layout was improved for proper printing
2. Conducted an analysis of the product line, which resulted in the development of a hierarchical structure that streamlined the range of equipment produced
3. Created a universal technical passport template
4. Established an automated process for generating a passport for each product

Results

• A new passport that meets GOST requirements
• A streamlined equipment structure
• Time required to create a passport for each product reduced by 4 times
• Access to up-to-date documentation via a QR code
